The Disaster that is Obama

Even if you flip a coin when making difficult decisions, you occasionally get one right. I would suggest that as a new strategy for the Obama administration...it would have to be an improvement. Never in my lifetime has such a bumbling fool been placed in such a position of power. To those of you who voted for this man, you owe the rest of us - indentured servitude might be a down payment.

Today, as Wall Street hit a ten week low and President Pantywaist's approval ratings hit an all-time low, the world was treated to the spectacle of the Chicago thug being dressed down by the former KGB thug on the evils of the USA in the Cold War. Ever the stalwart leader, Zero could not bring himself to acknowledge that the nation he is sworn to lead and protect WON the damned thing.

It's probably just as well he didn't do any more talking than he did - every time he opened his mouth on this trip he got something else wrong, from who is actually president of Russia to how he met his wife (they met when both worked at a Chicago law firm, for those of you who voted for him and obviously never bothered to research his life story at all).

As Obama praised Putin's "extraordinary work" (you know - invading Georgia, assassinating journalists, all those other high-minded achievements), Putin applauded the American President's hospitality and openness - unfortunately for The One, Putin was referring to President Bush.

Obama got little of what he wanted from the former Soviets, but he did get their phony and utterly worthless agreement to a further reduction in nuclear arms. He'll have to give up that missile shield we promised Poland and the Czech Republic, but Barry never really liked that idea anyway - guns and things are just so....mean!

After his fabulously successful day of skillfully applying his charming diplomatic skills, Dear Leader declined to dine with his hosts, instead tucking his tail between his legs and retreating electing to spend a quiet evening with the family at their hotel. So much for international relations.

Thankfully, though foreign policy has proven a bit challenging lately, everything went just swimmingly here at home. Joe Biden, correctly and honestly, admitted that we have no right to dictate to Israel what they can and cannot do to protect their nation. He must have missed the memo, though, because that is adamantly not the administration's official position, as his boss was delighted to point out.

There seems to be some problem with White House communications, as Biden wasn't the only one who missed a memo. While Obama was giving waffling support for yet another stimulus package, his faithful minion, Harry Reid, insisted it was out of the question. The military missed a memo, too, and executed a brilliant strike on Pakistani militants just hours after The Messiah handed down his vision of a pacifist world of the future. I'm sure they'll all be on the same page in another year or two.

All of this in the space of a couple of days. And just after failing to support the cause of freedom in either Iran or Honduras. Things are looking pretty shaky for Dear Leader these days. But have no fear - no one is paying attention. Michael Jackson died!

  1. I remember when Richard Nixon, as Vice President of the United States visited Moscow and accompanied Kruschev to some sort of fair. In a kitchen display, the Soviet leader started in on Nixon, berating the U.S. and its capitalistic system. Nixon stood toe to toe, face to face and argued with the old communist. And that was when the Soviets were waving nuclear weapons in our face.
The pain today comes from the fact that any Liberal Democrat will tell you that Richard Nixon was a crook and that Barack Obama is some sort of great leader.
The Moscow kitchen fight wasn't the only time Nixon showed his grit. Once in Argentina, his motorcade route was lined with students protesting some phony charge against the U.S.
Nixon made his driver stop and he jumped out of the car to confront the protestors and set them straight.
In those days, the world respected America because we had leaders who respected America.
