To The Liberals

it is a toss up as to who is most hated...

Is it George W. Bush and members of his administration?
Is it the C.I.A.?
Is it the U.S. Military?

And so, to their eternal joy, they have now created the opportunity to put them all on trial at once.

It will be an expensive and painful trial for America, but with the Dems, the means will justify the end.

The decision to try the 911 planners in New York, they say, is to prove that America is better than the rest of the world. And, they say, they are confident of a conviction.

I don't know how "the world" looks at that, but I want to know how you square the American idea of "innocent until proven guilty" with confident of a conviction?

But, that doesn't matter. They will get to vilify the C.I.A. as they endanger members of the U. S. Military and heap scorn upon everything ever done by George W. Bush.

The Jihadists are winning a huge victory here, even in the face of a guaranteed conviction.

  1. Sadly, I can't remember who I was listening to, but I heard on talk radio a discussion about what the jury selection process for these trials would look like. The conclusion was that anyone who admitted having had a strong reaction or anti-Muslim feelings after 9/11 would be off the jury, leaving us, ultimately, with a jury of ACLU types, and the serious possibility of an acquital.

Suspecting this might be the case, or having actually seen it happen with fellow members of the jury pool, "real" Americans might try to lie about their feelings to make it to the final jury. Would there then be Joe the Plumber style investigations of these jurors, to ascertain whether they had ever made any statements critical of terror attacks?

The possibilities here are endless, and none of them good. This is yet another intentional attempt to divide Americans, to further the cause of the Socialist left. It will create a huge spectacle that will captivate much of the public's attention - while we're not watching, what else do they have on their agenda?

How tragic that we have to think in these terms in the country that was once a beacon of freedom to the world.

  2. I wouldn't want to be on that jury. If I understand it correctly, KSM wants to defend himself, therefore, he would have access to all jurors records (ie addresses, age, beliefs, relatives in LE, etc.) and he will have available the various secret documents from homeland security and the military.

What a goat roap this is going to be. This trial is going to set our country on it's ear! This will set such a precedent and a bad one for our country
