Kansas City Independence Day Tea Party!

A few thousand patriotic residents of America's heartland gathered this morning along State Line Road (the border between Kansas and Missouri in Kansas City) to speak out against big government and those who seek to infringe upon our liberties. Heavy clouds and a few sprinkles did little to dampen the spirits of the participants or the hundreds of passers-by who honked and waved enthusiastically. As usual, they were a wonderfully happy, optimistic, friendly and respectful group - all there with one common cause: securing the America we all love so deeply against those who seek to destroy her.
