Could New Jersey be Turning Red?
I'm not a huge fan of Quinnipiac University polls, but you gotta take good news wherever you can find it!
New Jersey has a gubernatorial race this year, and Quinnipiac reports that Republican Christopher Christie is currently leadingidiot Democratic incumbent Jon Corzine by 6 points, 44 to 38. This would be an outstanding pickup, and the fulfillment of one-third of Michael Steele's first promise...to go after New Jersey and Virginia governorships and the vacated House seat of Kirsten Gillebrand, who was chosen to replace Hillary Clinton in the Senate.
