Celestial Show

This month, the planet Venus is shining at a very bright level. Tonight, the new moon is a sharp little crescent. And, tonight the moon and Venus are in close proximity, a very cool sight , indeed!

If you live in one of those areas where trees or man-made structures obscure the western sky, here's the way it looked at about 7:15 p.m., MST.

Not a masterpiece photo, but a fair representatiion.
