Hole In The Foot Award
I propose a new national award and nominate Tom Daschle as the first recipient.
It isn't often when some misguided politician takes himself out of the decision making body by shooting himself in the foot.
So, when one does, and we all cheer, the foot-shooter should be rewarded for solving the problem for us.
Tom Daschle, in an amazing display of arrogance, blew off the IRS and refused to pay his taxes. That was a huge shot in the foot - the blast that took him out of the White House job promised to him.
Thank you, Tom. We shall be forever grateful.

ReplyDeleteToo bad Daschle's nomination didn't precede Geithner's nomination, although I seriously doubt that Geithner would have "followed" Daschle's "example" and bowed out.
How truly "inspiring" to witness this procession of "saints" coming to serve The Anointed One.
